Pure Water, Pure Life

Free In-Home Water Testing + Well Water Testing

Know what’s in your water before you buy anything. Test first, then treat only what your water needs.

Licensed C55 contractor · CSLB #811243 · 30+ years · Family-owned since 1996

Dropper releasing a water sample into a test tube, the kind of lab water testing we arrange for Modesto and Central Valley homes

What you’ll notice

  • Know what’s in your waterbefore you buy anything
  • Free, at your homewe test right at your tap
  • Plain-English resultswe walk you through every number
  • Only what you needsometimes that’s nothing at all

You can’t fix what you haven’t measured. Guessing at a softener, filter, or reverse osmosis system wastes money and can leave the real problem in your pipes.

Across Manteca, Lathrop, Stockton, Patterson, Hughson, Turlock, Modesto and the rest of the Central Valley, city water and private wells both change over time. A fresh test tells you what’s actually coming out of the tap today.

What Can Be in Your Water

  • Hardness — scale on fixtures, soap that won’t lather, and shorter appliance life.
  • Chlorine taste and odor — city water disinfection that shows up in showers, drinking water and ice.
  • Sediment — sand, silt and rust that clog aerators and wear out valves.
  • Low pH (acidic water) — blue-green stains and copper pipe corrosion.
  • Copper — elevated copper from acidic water eating away at copper pipes, a metallic taste, and blue-green stains on sinks and tubs.
  • Iron, manganese and sulfur — orange or black staining, metallic taste, and rotten-egg smell.
  • Nitrate, arsenic, 1,2,3-TCP (trichloropropane, a contaminant linked to past farm fumigant use) and chromium concerns — well and older-source issues you often can’t see or taste.
  • Bacteria / UV needs — when a well needs disinfection, not just filtration.

How We Help

Liquid Solutions Inc is a family-owned, licensed C55 water conditioning contractor. We start with a free in-home water test: hardness, chlorine, soap and precipitation checks, and more. For wells, we also do specialized on-site testing and can send samples to state-certified labs when deeper results are needed.

We explain everything in plain English, then recommend only what fits your results: a water softener or saltless conditioner, Big Blue or backwashing filtration, reverse osmosis, acid neutralization, iron and sulfur treatment, UV, and more. Systems are built with NSF-certified components.

After install, we test again and adjust at no charge if results aren’t where they should be. No pressure, no “today only” pitch.

Water testing FAQs

Is the water test really free?

Yes. The in-home water test is free with no pressure. Specialized well and lab testing is also available; call (209) 523-5921 for details.

What does the free test check?

Hardness, precipitation, chlorine, and soap testing, and more.

How often should I test my well water?

We recommend testing a private well at least once a year, and any time the taste, smell, or color changes.

Do I need a test if I'm on city water?

City water is treated for safety, but hardness and chlorine taste vary by address. A free test checks your hardness, chlorine and more, so we can recommend the right fix.
