Manteca’s TCP history, in plain numbers
Manteca has been under a state compliance order for 1,2,3-TCP (trichloropropane, a contaminant linked to past farm fumigant use) and installed treatment on every affected well. Its 2025 report says all of those plants were running by June 2025. Before that, one well’s running annual average reached 31 ng/L (parts per trillion) in the second quarter, above California’s 5 ppt limit, and all wells sampled since June 2025 show no detection. For TCP, the State Water Board says “Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) has been identified as the Best Available Technology (BAT) for 1,2,3-TCP removal.” [State Water Board notice: 1,2,3-TCP regulation (Dec 2017)] That’s about city treatment plants. The RO systems we install include activated carbon stages, but we don’t claim any home unit is certified for TCP.

Does RO remove TCP from Manteca water?
The city’s own treatment now handles TCP, and its wells have tested non-detect since June 2025. Our RO systems include activated carbon stages, and carbon is the State Water Board’s best available technology for TCP, but we don’t claim a home unit is certified for TCP.
Does RO remove PFAS?
